From Tuesday, January 16th, to Friday, January 19th, AAHS students participated in a Kindness Campaign!
On Wednesday, Student Government and Link Crew teamed up to build an Acts of Kindness Chain. Students came to the Kadet Coffee Lounge during lunch and wrote acts of kindness that they had seen on a paper link. Link Crew turned their notes of kindness into a kindness chain.
On Thursday, students who received a duck for demonstrating kindness received hot cocoa and candy from the Student Council and GSTA at lunch.
On Friday, the Student Government and No Place for Hate set up a friendship bracelet making station in the media center.
Also on Friday, the Student Council and Whitelaw Memorial Fund had students paint rocks for kindness in the cafeteria after school. The rocks will become part of an outdoor display at AAHS.
