The AAHS Speech and Debate Team celebrated a great season at their awards night on April 4th. Each year at this awards ceremony Speech and Debate students are inducted into the oldest honor society in America for high school students. Additionally, returning students are recognized for earning new degrees and achievements in the honor society as well as for earning AAHS Forensics, Speech and Debate Letters and other awards. This year, the team also recognized team seniors, Ella McCauley and Elizabeth Kent, as the first team members to receive AAHS Speech and Debate Scholarships. Congratulations, Kadets!
