Who Should Fill Out a Request for Participation?
Use this process when your student wants to participate in a sport or activity not offered at their enrolled school, whether inside or outside Academy District 20 boundaries. If the sport or activity is offered at your student’s current school, register directly through that school’s athletics or activities program.
This process is specific to athletics and activities governed by the Colorado High School Activities Association (CHSAA) at the middle and high school levels.
Middle School students may have an interest in an after-school activity or intramural program that is offered at another school. These requests are not subject to the this process and must first be directed to the school involved. If written permission is obtained, the student can then request an athletic/activity placement with that school.
Request for Participation
Students Enrolled in an Academy District 20 School
Log in to Infinite Campus.
Navigate to More > Online Registration > Athletics/Activities Request for Participation Form.
Select "Start."
If you have multiple students, complete the athletics/activities registration section for all your students before submitting. For the question, "Are you requesting to have this student placed for Athletics/Activities? " answer 'yes' only for students who want to participate in athletics/activities at another school. Answer 'no' for all other students.
All Other Students
Requests for placement for the 2026-27 school year will open on March 31, 2026, at 8 a.m.
Complete our district's Online Registration to be considered for a participation request.
- Upload all required documents, including parent photo ID and student birth certificate.
Fill out the "Sports and Activities registration" section along with all other sections.
- Complete all information under each section of the form.
- For the question, "Is this enrollment for a student to participate in Sports/Activities only? ", select 'yes'.
- Choose "Sports/Activities Only" as the preferred school under the Student tab of the registration.
Sign and date the registration, then click the Submit button.
Annual Requirements and School Changes
- A new Request for Participation is required each school year for students that desire to participate in athletics/activities outside of their current school.
- Once a student begins participating at a middle or high school, CHSAA transfer rules may apply if the student later requests to participate at a different school.
