The Academy District 20 Dance & Pom Team is a district-wide program hosted at Pine Creek High School and recognized as an official CHSAA athletic sport. This program combines dance, athleticism, and precision, with a strong emphasis on technique, performance, choreography, and synchronization.
It is designed to be both competitive and spirited, welcoming co-ed students from across the district with a range of experience levels who are eager to grow as dancers, athletes, and leaders.
Season and Training
The season spans fall and winter, with training beginning in May to prepare athletes for high-level performance and competition.
In addition to competing in league, regional, state, and national competitions, the team supports Pine Creek High School athletics through sideline and halftime performances.
As a district-hosted program, this work contributes to school spirit while representing the broader D20 community.
