AAHS Assessment Window Spring 2020:
Colorado has a series of educational standards known as the Colorado Academic Standards that outline academic objectives for students in every grade across 10 content areas. CMAS - Science (Colorado Measures of Academic Success) and Pre-SAT/SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test) are the only common measuring tools for Colorado students in English and Math and Science.
Below is Air Academy's schedule for these state assessments. Thank you for making these dates a priority to get students to school for their appropriate test. Students absent the day of testing will be pulled for make-up testing when they return.
If you have any questions, please contact Assistant Principals Anna Keilman or Liz Walhof at 234-2400.
Testing schedule for April 2020
If at all possible, please schedule appointments away from these dates. Only students who are taking the exams in the morning need to report that morning. All other students will come at lunch time to attend shortened classes in the afternoon. Buses will run normally every morning and do an additional run in the afternoon to get students here by 12pm (plenty of time to eat lunch here and get to class on time). We will send out the afternoon class schedule and more specifics on busing when we have that information. All students enrolled at AAHS are automatically registered for the SAT, PSAT and CMAS; you do not need to do anything to register them.
