 Testing Schedule

AAHS Assessment Window Spring 2019:

Colorado has a series of educational standards known as the Colorado Academic Standards that outline academic objectives for students in every grade across 10 content areas.  CMAS - Science (Colorado Measures of Academic Success) and Pre-SAT/SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test) are the only common measuring tools for Colorado students in English and Math and Science. 

Below is Air Academy's schedule for these state assessments.  Thank you for making these dates a priority to get students to school for their appropriate test.  Students absent the day of testing will be pulled for make-up testing when they return.

April 9thSAT – 11th grade

·        Alternate schedule (afternoon only for non-testing students with busing provided)

·        Only juniors will attend in the morning for testing and will be expected to stay for classes in the afternoon

·        Afternoon schedule will be a reduced silver day – blocks 1,2

April 10thPSAT – 10th grade
  • Alternate schedule (afternoon only for non-testing students with busing provided)
  • Only sophomores will attend in the morning for testing and will be expected to stay for classes in the afternoon
  • Afternoon schedule will be a reduced blue day – all blocks
April 11thPSAT – 9th grade
  • Alternate schedule (afternoon only for non-testing students with busing provided)
  • Only freshmen will attend in the morning for testing and will be expected to stay for classes in the afternoon
  • Afternoon schedule will be a reduced silver day – blocks 3,4
April 12thCMAS Science – 11th grade

·        Regular schedule for non-juniors

·        Juniors (A-K) will report to one of the computer labs for testing in the morning and juniors (L-Z) in the afternoon

·        No new instruction will be covered in junior classes and/or juniors will not be required to make up any work while in testing
