Student Services

Your student services/counseling team is here to assist students and parents in many ways. We work on a grade level model; students have the same grade-level assistant, counselor, and alpha letter administrator for all four years of high school. In addition to their alpha letterl counselor, students have access to a full-time college and career counselor to help them prepare for and meet their post-secondary goals. Our counseling team is available to assist students with academic and career planning, academic struggles and success, course selection, credit tracking, social and emotional concerns, and referrals to outside resources. Students may make an appointment with their counselor or drop in for immediate help at any time.
Parents are encouraged to e-mail or call their student's counselor with questions and/or to schedule an appointment. If you have a general question or concern for your student's counselor, the most expedient way to contact him or her is through email. You can also contact your student's counselor through voicemail. Counselors will return phone calls within 24-48 hours. Parents report student absences to the alpha letter assistant. Click on any of the links to the left for more information or call 234-2428 or 234-2432 for immediate assistance.
If you are a PARENT or GUARDIAN, please use the following guidelines:
  • If you have a question about your student's current grade or course content, please contact the teacher directly. You may use Infinite Campus to monitor your student's progress in his or her classes. The counselors do not have additional information regarding specific classes; so teachers will be best equipped to inform and guide you.
  • Please keep in mind that if you're calling about a teacher-related issue, we ask that you have communicated with the teacher first.
